Eucapil

Eucapil or Fluridil

Eucapil Hair Restoration Solution (also known as Fluridil) offers a clinically tested approach to significantly reduce or even halt hair loss in men and address facial hirsutism in women caused by hormonal factors. Formulated to protect hair follicles from hormonal effects linked to hereditary baldness, including androgenetic alopecia, Eucapil was developed by Biophysica, Inc. in San Diego, California, and manufactured by Interpharma-Praha in the Czech Republic.

Eucapil Clinical Trials and Proven Effectiveness

A study conducted by a university dermatology clinic confirmed Eucapil’s efficacy and safety. Daily application was effective for most participants, with no reported adverse effects. Efficacy measurements, based on phototrichograms, showed significant shifts in hair growth phases: increases in anagen (growing) hairs and reductions in telogen (dying) hairs. Additionally, both male and female users experienced noticeable hair thickening with daily 2 ml applications, which showed no impact on hormonal or hematological profiles. Findings from this 12-month trial were published in Drug Development Research(Sovak M, Seligson AL, Kucerova R, Bienova M, Hajduch M, Bucek M. 2002. Fluridil, a rationally designed topical agent for androgenetic alopecia: first clinical experience. Dermatol Surg 28:678-685, with an erratum on p.971. [Publication]).

Long-Term Hair Regrowth for Thinning Hair and Androgenetic Alopecia

When hair has been absent from the scalp for extended periods, and hair follicles are replaced by connective tissue, the potential for new hair growth is significantly reduced.

However, in some individuals who had experienced baldness for several years, the use of Eucapil for 3 to 4 months led to new hair growth, with “peach fuzz” or fine baby hairs appearing on the scalp. Over time, and with the natural hair growth cycle (which can take several years), this new growth may strengthen, although it remains uncertain if these fine hairs will fully mature into standard hair.

The most promising results were seen in those who began using Eucapil at the onset of hair loss. For men, this may occur as early as age 20, while for women, significant hair loss sometimes begins around menopause.

Fast, Visible Results with Continued Use

With daily application, Eucapil typically slows or halts hair loss within 3 to 6 weeks, with noticeable thickening of existing hair seen by the third month. Post-marketing feedback and ongoing studies since Eucapil’s release as a cosmetic product indicate rapid reduction in hair loss within weeks. Prolonged use further enhances hair thickness, giving a fuller appearance. Users who started early in their hair loss journey and have active follicles report the best outcomes.

Manufactured by Interpharma Praha, Eucapil is a 2% fluridil solution in 2 ml ampules, adhering to strict Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Fluridil, the active ingredient, is registered in the EU

Eucapil®, Post-Marketing Survey based on a questionnaire sent out to 103 randomly selected users of Eucapil®

Since 2002, Eucapil has been available in pharmacies and online throughout the EU and several other countries. Without a formal marketing campaign, Eucapil’s growth has been largely driven by word-of-mouth recommendations. In June 2006, Interpharma Praha, Eucapil’s manufacturer, initiated a post-marketing survey with input from key marketing partners. Essential feedback was collected, with select results presented in the form of graphs below.
